Masters Of Hardcore Albums
Collection 1996-2020

Masters of Hardcore is een Nederlands hardcore-
evenement dat op 1 juli 1995 voor het eerst werd 
gehouden in de sporthallen van Almere onder de 
naam Doomsday - Masters of Hardcore. Dit feest 
werd destijds georganiseerd door A&A events wat 
stond voor Attalos & Airpeace. Deze organisatie 
werd gerund door de DJ King Matthew. Later werd 
A&A omgedoopt tot 'Almere & Art'. Nu is het Art Of 
Dance Rond deze tijd bracht Masters of Hardcore 
ook hun eerste release op het label uit, geprodu-
ceerd door de dj's Bass-D & King Matthew, Rob 
Gee & DJ J.D.A. Rond 1998 bereikte de hardcore-
scene in Nederland het dieptepunt. punt. De grote 
labels waren niet langer geïnteresseerd in main-
stream gabber en de promotors van grote evene-
menten kozen ervoor om meer gangbare dans-
muziek te organiseren, zoals trance en club. Veel 
hardcore producers en dj's wisten niet wat ze 
moesten doen en de die-hard hardcore fans wis-
ten niet waar ze heen moesten.
