Hallo Muziekliefhebbers,


Top of the Pops was een langlopend Engels tv-programma van de BBC. Het liep van 1 januari 1964 tot 30 juli 2006. Wekelijks werd de Britse top 40 behandeld door middel van liveoptredens. Het programma is toonaangevend geweest voor de Engelse muziektelevisie en vormde in Nederland de inspiratie voor Toppop. 


In 2008 is er een verzamelbox uitgebracht met 43 CD's.

Deze omvatten de totale periode van 1964 - 2006.
